April 27 - May 3: Zhuangzi Week!
Greetings readers and listeners!
This week I want to move beyond Laozi and Tao Te Ching and introduce you to Zhuangzi. If you read last weeks article on Wednesday, I mentioned him in my regarding death from a Taoists perspective. But this week, I want to cover some of his other stories and how they’ve connected to my life. As always, I’ll alternate days between writing and recording with a live stream on Friday during my lunch break.
Monday
Article: A deep dive on the uncarved block concept from Taoism.
Tuesday
Podcast: Narration and extra commentary regarding the uncarved block.
Wednesday
Article: The debate on the Joy of Fish. Can we ever really know something?
Thursday
Podcast: Narration and extra commentary regarding the Zhuangzi’s fishy debate.
Friday
Touch Grass Live Stream (featuring fast, at home, WIFI)

You may have received a coming soon article yesterday, and if you did I apologize.
If you dig around in my previous work, you’ll not only notice a large gap in time where I didn’t write at all, but also many articles that don’t fit “The Taoist Corner.” That’s because they were imported from Medium.com and were written in different styles and genre’s as I learned to express myself. So, I’m moving those articles into a new publication on Substack called “Patrick’s Thoughtful Spot.”
New articles will stay in The Taoist Corner. Maybe one day I’ll feel inspired to return to different styles, but not right now.
It’s simply a place for me to separate my old, different genre, writings with my current work. If you do want to read what I was up to back then, you’ll find poems, short stories, and even vacation updates! It’s a real scatter shot of topics. If you’re ever curious, or you want to follow along as I import them, you can go to Patrick’s Thoughtful Spot at subscribe. Or just forget about it and keep being awesome!
Thanks for reading and I’ll see you guys tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Patrick Stewart
