Another Day Has Come!
Greetings on this fine Saturday morning! We wanted to start this newsletter as Patrick starts his days on Mastodon with a daily mantra.
“I am thankful for living to see another sunrise, and I will use this gift to help those I can.”
If you want to learn more about why he does this, you can read Patrick’s article below.

New Writers & Submissions
After last week’s call for new writers on social media, I’m happy to announce THREE new writers! We had some great submissions, and these are incredibly talented authors. I hope you had a chance to read them, but if not, we would all appreciate it if you would do so. So don’t forget to clap, subscribe, and follow them too! Congratulations to you three!
NathanLovesTrees, Simon Kupfer. and Dr. Roger E. Prentice!
Here are their submissions and the top articles from this week!
Cogito, Ergo Sum — Simon Kupfer
It’s Spring, Obviously — NathanLovesTrees
Non-duality in Christianity and Taoism — Dr. Roger E. Prentice
The Great Inconsistent Tao is Beautifully Consistent — Patrick Stewart
A Beginner’s Guide to Taoism
Patrick also delved deeper into Taoism’s basic concepts and history this week. The first article looked at the historical and legendary creator of the Tao Te Ching, Lao-tzu. Next, Patrick followed up with an explanation of the Uncarved Block. If you’ve been wondering what’s this Taoism thing all about, here is your chance to find out!

New Beginnings
It’s always been a dream of ours to build a community around the idea of helping others, and I’m excited to see us start to grow. I don’t know what will happen, but even with the handful of submissions and conversations this week, we are so proud of you all.
Our articles don’t have the most clickbaity titles, and I’m sure long-form articles aren’t recommended by the algorithm often. But we are here to help others by telling great stories, sharing our journeys, and being there for others. It’s not about how many clicks we receive. It’s about that one click that can significantly impact a person’s life. It happened to me years ago when I clicked on a YouTube video by George Thompson, which you can watch here. This video was my first introduction to Taoism, and I’ve never looked back since.
If you’re struggling or know others that are, please send them our way. One of our stories can help brighten up their day. Everyone needs a friend, and we are always willing to speak to any of you should you need it. Message us on Mastodon, join our Discord, or comment on any article about how to reach out to you, and I promise I’ll do so!
So, a big thank you and lots of love from us to you!
