Greetings!
My name is Patrick B. Stewart and I’m the owner and cheif editor of The Taoist Online (TTO) Medium publication. I’m sure you’re wondering what could possibly be so important to fill one more line of your already full inbox. So, I’ll keep this short and to the point.
I started this publication so that I could help spread what I’ve learned about Taoism and my self, what others have learned about their own journey, and through that, hopefully you’ll find your journey through life enriched. When I started this path ~4 years ago, I never thought I would end up writing about my life and trying to create a community around my stories. As you can imagine, Taoism is a pretty niche topic and very few people have even heard of it. But, those who have love it!
One of the best parts about Taoism, is that it’s been around for so long, you’ll find similar thoughts and practices in most major religions and philosophies such as Zen and Buddhism. So, you’re going to see not just my own stories, but eventually, if I can gather more writters, you’ll read about similar or related topics such as meditation, wellness, mindfulness, and more.
I’ll also use TTO to publish personal stories of the writers I accept. It’s important to know where we come from so that we can better understand where we are now and where we can go in the future. So, I hope you’ll help spread the word about TTO.
