I cannot thank you enough for this exploration. It immediately took me back to a time when I was looking for a "relationship" no differently than collecting a pari of shoes. Simply because I wanted one. No regard, much less understanding, that it wasn't a thing to be gathered but a thing to be co-created.

I can't help but reflect and wonder if there are still remnants of that way of being still hanging about within me.

I agree with your conclusion—live and let live and have faith. It all works out. Nothing can be forced that will ever last. And truly, nothing lasts anyway. All of this is temporary. So to make space for new, we must let go. And I have discovered that to be the mother of all truths. I can let go with ease because of what comes when I do. What is best for me.

Exactly! It seems so simple yet it still so difficult sometimes. It certainly takes practice. Hopefully I’ll achieve the same level of ability as you one day.
