Man’s Best Girl Friend
Dogs are like people, except when they’re not.
Dogs are like people,
except when they’re not.
They sit, and they stay.
They roll over and play,
but by your side,
they’ll be quite a lot.
She sits by my chair,
without even a care.
Not anxious, or nervous,
or worried, or tense.
She just lays in the sun all day.
She’s happy and fun
and smart and fit.
She just looked around today.
We could learn a lot from dogs.
