As some of you know, my Mom was in the ER yesterday, so I couldn’t write or record. However, I still wanted to do something for everyone, even if it was quick.
So, today, I streamed a quick review of my favorite Taoism book (besides the Tao Te Ching, of course), The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff!
It’s a short, funny, philosophical look at all of A.A. Milne’s classic Winnie the Pooh characters and how they each represent a Taoist concept. There’s also a sequel called The Te of Piglet, but I’ll have to review it later.
I hope you enjoy this concise and impromptu review!
Don’t forget that my new community-written publication, The Daoist Online, goes live tomorrow! TDO is created by writers who want to share their faith, religion, philosophical thoughts, spiritual nature, or personal journeys with everyone.
People of all backgrounds should have a place to come together, not to be judged, but to share and learn! Subscribe here for one new article per day.
Even though I’m publishing other writers at TDO, my personal work and writing will always remain here at The Taoist Corner.
So, stay here to receive my writing, and there if you want everyone else’s writing. Or both!
I’ll see you all next week with a return to Tao Te Ching deep dives!
